How to get clear skin.
How to get clear skin is the most commonly asked question, especially amongst youth. The skin reveals a lot about the health and hygiene of a person. It can be referred as the covering of our body, which can be compared to the wrapper of a gift. The more attractive the wrapper, the more nice the gift seems. Just like that, the clearer and smoother the skin, the more beautiful the person appears.
Woman often desire for a clear, blemish free skin. Though it is not difficult to achieve a clear complexion but you need to be a little disciplined when it comes to skin care. Like our body needs care to remain healthy so also our skin needs regular TLC to remain blemish free forever. The first important step in skin care regime is to keep your skin clean, wash your face twice a day with a medicated soap or a pH balanced face wash. Then wipe it with an astringent lotion, using cotton wool. Mix a little rose water with sandalwood paste and apply it on your face. Wash after 15 minutes with water.
Mix multani mitti with rose water and lemon juice, and apply on your face two to three times a week. Wash when it dries. Include fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouts and yogurt in your daily diet. Drink six to eight glasses of water daily. Add the juice of lemon to a glass of water, and drink it first thing in the morning. Also include some vitamin and mineral supplements.
Mix cinnamon powder with a little lemon juice, and add a few drops of honey. Apply this mixture on your pimples daily, and leave on for atleast one hour. Once daily, at any time, mix one teaspoon each of honey and lemon juice, and apply on your face face. Wash with water after 15 minutes.
The type of diet you follow has an impact on your skin. A diet high on fried and fatty food would lead to the outbreak of pimples. You should avoid chocolate, food and drinks, which have a cocoa base, fatty fried food and starchy food like cakes, biscuits, sweets and jams. A diet high in protein is encouraged as it is considered a pimple fighter.
Drink lots of water to help your skin to be healthy, and try and eat healthy too.
Moisturize using an oil-free moisturizer made specially for the face — don’t just dab on any old body lotion. Avoid heavy creams.
Make sure your hair is always clean because grease from your finger or the front of your hair could be making your skin oily.
While acne has long been a problem for adolescents, in recent decades the last fifty years specifically acne has been on the rise among adults as well, particularly among women. Many scientists have traced this upsurge to changes in the dietary habits of North Americans. (Incidentally, an interesting thing to care for the skin you can see here.) The Clear Skin Diet is designed to help those who suffer from acne to understand what it is, why they have it, what it has to do with their eating habits, and what they can do to prevent it or lessen its impact.
